The top ten dog sports are Agility, Flyball, Dock Diving, Sheepdog Trials, Disc Dog, Terrier Trials, Earthdog Trials, Lure Coursing, Field Trials, and Obedience Trials.

  4. Caring for Dogs Just like any other living thing dogs require constant water, food, exercise, shelter, and attention. All dogs should also be trained house rules, and some basic commands. Depending on the breed of the dog, some may need more exercise, food, grooming, and space than others. Also, dogs should regularly be taken to vet to get a check up, and its yearly shots.

  5. Where to get a dog You can get a dog in many different places, but it all depends on what is best for you. You can adopt a dog from your local animal shelter, pet store, dog breeder. They say if you want a good looking pure bred dog, that you should get it from a breeder, but many people like to save dogs from the animal shelters to give it a good home after it had a bad start. The well known worst place to get a dog is a pet store, because most of them come from backyard breeders, who are just doing it to get money.
