Robot have Some Problems too! • Mechanically Inefficient (it takes a 50kg arm to move a 2 gram IC chip for assembly) • Fault Intolerant (consistent even if they should adapt to small changes in presentation) • Relatively ‘Stupid’ with limited sensory capability and lack of reasoning power • Somewhat questionable accuracy: at best about 0.005 to 0.010” (.01 to .025 mm)
