About Visa 884 Contributory aged parent visa 884 is temporary visa lets the aged parent of a settled Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen stay temporarily in Australia. The visa subclass 884 allows aged parents who are in Australia on a temporary basis and who have children living in Australia, to live in Australia for two years. You cannot extend or renew this visa but you can apply for permanent visa.
