  2. About Visa 600 This visa stream lets you visit Australia as a tourist, to see family and friends or for purposes other than business or medical treatment. This visa has four streams: 1. Tourist Stream 2. Business Visiter Stream 3. Sponsored Family Stream 4. Approved Destination Status Stream

  3. Streams of Visa 600 1. Tourist Stream : This Visa is for the individuals who want to travel in Australia for holidays, recreational activities, to visit friends and family. 2. Business Visiter Stream : This is for the people who want to travel to Australia for business purpose including for making a general business or employment enquiry, negotiations or participating in a conference.

  4. Streams 3. Sponsored Family Stream : This visa is for the prople who want to visit their family and sponsored by their relative. 4. Approved Destination Status Stream : This visa is for the people form the People's Republic of China who are traveling in an organised tour group.

  5. Eligibility for Visa 600 To get the Subclass 600 visa, applicants have to fulfil the following criteria: • If applicants wants to apply for Tourist Visa Subclass 600, should genuinely want to stay in Australia for a temporary period only. • They should have sufficient funds to support themselves during their stay in Australia. • They should qualify the public interest criteria, which includes character and health.

Document Required Applicants of Australian tourist visa are required to submit the following documents: Personal documents: Passport – Applicants have to submit notarized copy of all the pages, which includes the page that contains the bio-data, alterations page and the last page. Photographs – Two recent passport-size (45mm x 355mm) photos of the applicant. Purpose of the Visit – Submit the itinerary, which includes all the details of your trip such as the places you will be traveling to, the activities that you plan to engage in, etc.

Charactor and Health Document • Applicants might be asked to go through certain medical tests and x-ray examinations. • To enter Australia, every applicant must be the health requirements of the country. • Proof of health insurance for the period of stay. • AusAID students or recipients have to submit a support letter provided by the AusAid Minister.

  8. Processing Time of Visa 1. Tourist Stream : 75% of applications in 20 days and 90% of applications in 28 days. 2. For Business Visiter Stream : 75% of applications in11 days and 90% of applications in18 days. 3. For Sponsored Family Stream : 75% of applications in 42 days and 90% of applications in 61 days. 4. For Approved Destination Status Stream : 75% of applications in1 day and 90% of applications in 4 days.
