About Visa 115 The visa subclass 115 is a permanent resident visa specifically designed for those whose all near relatives have settled in Australia and they are the only person left in their home country. The Remaining Relative Visa Subclass 115 allows people to move to Australia and live with their close family members. The visa applicants must be outside Australia (offshore) when apply for this visa.

  3. With this visa you can • Stay in Australia indefinitely • Work and study in Australia • Enrol in Australia's public healthcare scheme • Sponsor your relatives to come to Australia

  4. Travel to and from Australia for 5 years You can travel to and from Australia as many times as you want for 5 years from the date visa granted. If you want to travel to Australia after the initial 5 year travel facility: ·  you will have to apply for and be granted a Resident Return (RRV) so they can re-enter Australia as a permanent resident ·  you might also want to consider Australian citizenship. If they become an Australian citizen, you don't require a visa to re-enter Australia.

  5. How long you can stay You can stay indefinitely in Australia with this permanent visa. You becomes a permanent resident on the day Remaining Relative Visa 115granted. For citizenship purposes, you become a permanent resident at the time you enter Australia on this Subclass 115 visa.

  6. Include Family You can include members of your family unit in your application when you apply. You need to include details of all your family members. They also have to meet health and character requirements. Family members who are not coming to Australia also have to meet the requirements.
