  1. Welcome! IB-MYP-IBSC 2010-2011 School Year Miramar High School

  2. The Purpose • The purpose of MYP-IBSC is to coordinate meetings for projects, volunteering events, awards ceremonies, information from the school on school events, and other interactive events for IB-MYP students to be able to better communicate and collaborate with each other.

  3. Qualifications • Students in the 9th and 10th Grades of the IB-MYP Program are allowed to join and attend meetings and other events coordinated by the club.

  4. Elections • Elections for the IB-MYP Club will be held at the next body meeting (every other Wednesday during A Lunch, in Mrs. Bostwick’s Room #502).

  5. Coordinator • The coordinator coordinates the various events of the IB-MYP and he/she will be responsible for helping with any other tasks that the President requests. The position can either be held by a 9th or 10th grade student of the IB-MYP Program.

  6. Secretary • The secretary must be present at every meeting and write detailed minutes for all the meetings. The position may be held by either a 9th or 10th grade student of the IB-MYP Program.

  7. Treasurer • The treasurer will need to be involved in all money related commitments of the organization. He/she must assist on fundraising activities and count the money with the sponsor. The position may be held my a 9th or 10th grader in the IB-MYP Program.

  8. 10th Grade Representitive • The 10th grade representative must inform the general body of the 10th graders of the MYP Program the general happenings and information in the club and transfer to and from the general body to the officers of the club. In addition, they must inspire the body to be active in the club and represent their thoughts within the assembly. The constitution allows up to three representatives.

  9. 9th Grade Representitive • The 9th grade representative must be active in notifying the 9th grade general body about the club and its events and try to transfer the information to and from the body to the other officers. In addition, they must inspire the body to be active in the club and represent their thoughts within the assembly. The constitution allows up to three representatives.
