Atlantic Ocean • The Atlantic Ocean is the large body of water that borders Georgia. • It provides a home for many organisms. The Atlantic Ocean is the 2nd largest Ocean in the world. Table of Contents
Animals of the Atlantic Ocean The Atlantic Ocean is full of animals of all sizes. Invertebrates, fish, mammals, and reptiles live in the ocean. Mollusks, crustaceans, and sea anemones are all invertebrates. Fish spend their entire life in the ocean. They take oxygen in through their gills. Bottle Nose Dolphin Loggerhead Turtle Crab
Atlantic Ocean Plants Atlantic Ocean plants are located near the surface where sunlight can reach them, because they need sunlight for energy. They combine sunlight with nutrients from the ocean water to make food. Plankton Seaweed
