  4. Civil Engineering Our Civil Engineering team undertakes a wide variety of major infrastructure works throughout the UK.

  5. Piling, Foundations and Ground Engineering Our Piling, Foundations and Ground Engineering business undertakes some of the most challenging ground engineering projects in the UK, which includes building, infrastructure and ground stabilisation schemes.

  6. Utilities Skanska Utilities work on multi-utility infrastructure schemes in the telecommunications, gas, electricity and water sectors.

  7. Skanska Infrastructure Services covers urban regeneration, highways improvements & maintenance, external works and landscaping, exterior lighting, building and civil engineering in the rail environment. Infrastructure Services

  8. Building – London & South East Our Building – London & South East Operating Unit undertakes schemes in the Private and Public Commercial sectors as well as in Education, Residential, Private Health and the Data Centre Market.

Building – Central & Regions Building – Central & Regions is responsible for all building projects in selected regions.  Where a project is carried out under PFI/PPP, excluding Education, this is also undertaken by Building – Central & Regions irrespective of location. Like Building – London & South East, they also undertake schemes in the Commercial and Education sectors as well as the Public and Private Health market, Custodial, Defence, Data Centres and Residential.

  10. Facilities Services Facilities Services provides facilities management solutions throughout the UK, supporting Skanska projects and the wider market.

  11. Specialists Specialists includes our M&E Engineering and ICT installations, Ceilings, Partitioning & Decorative Plasterwork and Steel Decking operations.

The Challenge • Each Operating unit, has traditionally developed and maintained it’s own individual and separately accredited management system. • Each management system sits on a separate IT platform and is hosted through individual intranet sites. We needed • One management system containing policies, processes, procedures common to all operating units • A single accreditation body (LRQA) • A common IT platform (Triaster)
