  6. Ojo! • The days of the week are not capitalized in Spanish. Unless, they are at the beginning of the sentence. • The Spanish week begins on Monday instead of Sunday.

  11. La fecha • The date is written with the day (number) of the week before the month in Spanish: i.e. Es el 15 de noviembre de 2013. (It is the 15th of November of 2013) • When writing the date in number form: i.e. 25/12/2004 (is December 25, 2004)

  12. The first of the month is “el primero” not “el uno”. i.e. Es el primero de diciembre. ¡Practica! • ¿Cuándo es tu cumpleaños?

  13. El tiempo • El tiempo is used for “weather,” but it can also mean “time” in other situations.
