Quattro tipi di folle secondo Tarde • Le folle aspettanti: sono dominate dalla curiosità e sono più pazienti o impazienti del singolo. • Le folle attente: la loro attenzione o disattenzione è più forte di quella di ognun individuo; il numero delle persone è un fattore importante. • Le folle manifestanti: usono il simbolismo sempre nello stesso modo: bandiere e stendardi, statue e reliquie, canti ed evviva. • Le folle agenti: folle dell’azione, hanno poche capacità di produrre, di costruire.
