  2. INTRODUCTION IAS exam preparations are a matter of discipline and the conviction to make it to the Indian Administrative Service, which supposedly isn’t a very simple task. Here are few habits that would help to prepare for an IAS exam.

  3. NEED STRATEGY Strategy is essential instead of mere planning because you need to take edge over the high ambitions to be in final list of around one thousand successful competitors. You should know that planning is good but strategy makes it more worth.

  4. THINK WISELY You have to begin from mains exam level because standard of question in preliminary exam is now equally analytical and conceptual. It is like preparing for World cup to be sure short winners in Friendly matches.

  5. TIME IS PRECIOUS Make a habit of emphasizing and learning in right order, write down the notes over all the issues and make sure that you write certain number of words in one line (on an average) to ensure word and time management.

  6. DON’T BE A SLAVE • Do not bear, one sitting should not exceed two to three hours. Always remember how your brain is working and should never be treated like a bonded worker.

  7. CHOOSE WISELY In the end, select Optional subject which is relevant to general studies. Now you do realize that your ability to link different issues of General Studies will enable you in writing excellent essay and making similar impression before Interview Board.
