  2. New Format - Timeline • About: Navigate to other parts of your profile • Add a Cover: You can choose a unique image for the cover of your timeline • Update Info: Allows you to update your information in each category • Activity Log: Tracks all of your activity by date

  3. Understanding Likes and Interests • When you add Likes or Interests, your Friends will be able to see them on your profile as small thumbnail images. • Likes and Interests show up in other places on Facebook, as well

  4. Sharing on Your Facebook Wall • Publisher • Recent Activity • Deleting Posts

  5. Tags of You By default when a friend tags you in a video, photo, or status update, the tagged item will appear in your timeline

  8. Adding a Photo or Photo Album to Your Wall • Uploading Photo • Use a Webcam • Create a Photo Album

  9. Uploading a Video • Click on the photo option listed under Apps on the panel located on the left side. • Next Click on the “+Upload Video” Tab

  10. Deleting or Editing an Album • Click on Photos on the left hand side of the page under Apps • Next click on the drop down arrow to the right of the photo album and select album • Now you can edit photos or delete the album

  11. How to Control Updates from Each Friend • When you click on a friend’s name a “blue Link” a box will appear allowing you to choose what type of updates you want to receive from them. • You can also see the option to unsubscribe from them.

  12. How to control what you want to show on your news feed • You can hide a story by clicking on the tab to the right of the entry and selecting Hide story.

  13. How to Unfriend a Person • Go to the page of the individual you want to remove • Click on Friends • Select Unfriend

  14. Asking a Question on your Wall • Click on Ask Question • Then add Poll Options • Finally, you need to decide who will see the poll question?

  15. How to Create an Event • Go to the Events tab on the left side of your home page • Click Create Event in the upper-right corner of the page

  16. Messages • Click Message button at the top right of your friend’s profile • Another way is to select Messages in left and column of your home page and then click the + New Message Button • You can add an attachment or video

  17. How to Create a Note • Go to Home • Click on Notes on the left side of the page • + Write a Note

  18. How to Create a Lists • Go to Lists • Click on More • Click on + Create a List

  19. How to Create a List • Create a “Name” for the list • In the next window add friends by clicking on the blue link “Add friends”

  20. To Remove a Friend From a List or Modify • Go Lists • Click on the name of the lists you want to edit • Click Manage Lists • Choose Add/Remove Friends

  21. How to Create a Group • Go to Home Page • Click on Create Group • Create a Group Name • Choose Privacy Settings • Click Create

  22. Adding Members to a Group • Go the Group • Click on the Members blue link • Click on + Add Friends
