BWH Dermatology IID Travel Awards To support and encourage trainee participation at the 2013 International Investigative Dermatology meeting, the Brigham and Women’s Hospital Department of Dermatology will provide travel stipends of up to $2000 for selected residents and fellows to attend the meeting for presentation of their research. Applications are due TODAY For application requirements, please talk to your PI or email Kristen keaton1@partners.org

  3. Managing IACUC Protocols and Lab Animal Welfare The next installment in the Lab Management Series is scheduled for Monday, April 1st from 10-11am in Carrie Hall. A completion of the series will lead to a BWH Certificate in Laboratory Management. The Laboratory Management Series has been developed by the BWH Department of Environmental Affairs and the BWH Office of Research Compliance. Please bring any general questions you may have about the topic or any questions related to specific situations in your own lab.

  4. The Art of Interviewing Sarah Cardozo-DuncanApril 2, 2013 Interviewing is an essential skill for building your career. In this interactive workshop, Sarah Cardozo-Duncan will teach techniques for successful outcomes for both informational and job interviews. Attendees should bring examples of jobs they are currently (or would like to be) interviewing for. Attendees will acquire networking skills and gain an understanding of how to approach the market to obtain their next position as well as learn to conduct successful job interviews, capitalize on your informational interviews and grow your network strategically.
