  1. Remove refrigeration from unit and remove refrigeration lines from top and bottom of evaporators.

  2. These arrows show fittings on bottom of the evaporator.

  3. Then apply balloons over fittings on top and bottom of the evaporators.

  4. If air is present in the refrigerant side of evaporator then the balloon will rise after time.

  5. Open air to dryer

  6. Watch the yellow balloon on the right.

  7. You can see this one has a bad evaporator
