LEVEL 3: • AS/A2 levels: Mostly exam based – some include coursework • BTEC: Work place focussed 100% coursework Single & Double Options Most students • pick 4 AS subjects in year 12 • choose 3 of these to continue in year 13 Both types of course can lead to work, training or University

October & November Do your research: - Read the Post 16 Subject Guide - Use www.fasttomato.com and www.ucas.com to research careers, qualifications and university courses - Ask for an interview with careers or the post 16 team - Discuss subjects with teachers in class and at Parents’ Evening - Contact Post 16 asteans@jcc.leics.sch.uk with any questions We welcome applications from JCC students and those studying elsewhere in Y11
