  3. What is RBRVS The Resource Based Relative Value System (RBRVS) is used to determine Allowed Charge Amounts for Medicare Part B (physician) services. In additional to Medicare, RBRVS is used with in Medicaid,, Managed Care (PPO & HMO), some states Workers Compensation and commercial insurance. RBRVS is also used in physician compensation and bonus methodology, life care planning and any health care related fee analysis.
