  2. Warm up challenge Listen to commands and respond: Front Fly Back Explode Middle Splat Right Stuck in mud Left

  3. CONNECT BIG PICTURE Objective: Perform and self assess our work. Success criteria: • ALL: Perform for assessment, and be able to mark your own work against levels. • MOST: Perform confidently, and explain what you have done well inyour own work. • SOME: Perform more complex choreography, give suggestions of how you can improve your own work.

  4. Competition EXTRA POINTS – change the dynamics, OR include question and answer, action/reaction, follow leader, canon, unison TASK: Create a duet based on a chase! Be as imaginative as possible. Remember to use jumps, turns, rolls, travelling, freezes, lifts! Avoid miming! You can use either the motif from last lesson, ideas from the worksheet or your own ideas! • CARTOON IDEAS: • Glue • • Earthquake pills • • Giant rubber band • • Jet-propelled pogo stick • • Rocket-powered roller skates • Triple-strength fortified leg-muscle • vitamins • • Instant icicle maker (just add water) • • DIY tornado kit • • Explosive tennis balls

  8. When watching... • What actions (jump, turn, travelling, gestures, balance) and dynamics (fast/slow/sharp/soft) can you see (L3)? • What are they trying to show? Can you tell? (l4) • Have they used any choreographic devices – question and answer, canon, follow leader? (L5) • What can they do to improve?
