When they came to the place called the Skull, there they crucified him, along with the criminals—one on his right, the other on his left.  Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” Luke 23:33-34. FORGIVE. What do you do when you’re under pressure?.

  1. When they came to the place called the Skull, there they crucified him, along with the criminals—one on his right, the other on his left.  Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” Luke 23:33-34

  2. FORGIVE

  3. What do you do when you’re under pressure?

  4. Usually the same thing you did before.

  5. Some men brought to him a paralytic, lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven.” Matthew 9:2

  6. I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven—for she loved much. But he who has been forgiven little loves little.” Then Jesus said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.” Luke 7:47-48

  7. Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” “No one, sir,” she said. “Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. Luke 7:47-48

  8. How Could Jesus so easily ask God to Forgive them?

  9. Jesus saw this ‘crisis’ as His Purpose.

  10. ou “Now my heart is troubled, and what shall I say? ‘Father, save me from this hour’? No, it was for this very reason I came to this hour.  John 12:27

  11. Why do we struggle so much with forgiveness?

  12. Because we tend not to see the greater purpose in our ‘crisis’.

  13. But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:44-45

  14. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. Colossians 3:13
