  1. Warm Up Find all the missing pieces to the triangle A= a= B= b= C= c= 9 cm

  2. Objective Students can find the missing angles of a right triangle given 2 sides. Language objective- students can explain how to find missing sides or angles using trig functions.

  3. Finding an unknown angle • 1. Set up the ratio for our trig function and solve for x • 2. Use the inverse trig function to get x by itself sin(x) ● sin-1 = x cos(x) ● cos-1= x tan(x) ● tan-1= x

  4. Given 2 sides find the missing angles Find θ 9cm θ 6cm

  5. Try this one • Find θ θ 7 12

  6. Find all the pieces of the triangle Find the missing pieces 9cm θ 6cm

  7. In Teams find the missing angles for 1-8 In teams find the missing angles for 1-8 Be ready to discuss.

  8. Putting it all together Complete the worksheet in teams , we will have a kahoot tomorrow to go over the answers.
