  2. Georgia is the independent state of Caucasus area of Eurasia. Georgia is situated at the intersection of Western Asia and Eastern Europe. It is surrounded to the west by the Bank Sea, from north by Russia, from the south by Turkey and Armenia, and southeast by Azerbaijan. Tbilisi is the capital of Georgia.
