  1. Data gain table (and with/without DAC table) H. Miyamoto for PDM & DP team LAL/IN2P3/Univ. Paris-Sud XI

  2. 3 kinds of Data takenduring the flight • DAC 250 (no gain table, no DAC table) • No thresholdadjustment, nor gain equalization • 13 NIST pixels obtained in pre-flight calibration • C. Moretto’spresentation • Data with DAC table • PDM calibration wasdone in this condition • 20 NIST pixels obtained in pre-flight calibration • Data with gain table (with DAC250) • Gain table based on the calibration withtest_ec_boardisused. • HV majority for eachEC_unit are 1000~1100V instead of 950V (operation voltage) • Not optimizedwith PDM condition, but stillbetterequalization in pulse heights • Takenmainly to demonstrate the function • 13 NIST piexelsobtained in pre-flight calibration

  3. DAC (threshold) and pulse height (gain) EC2 s-curves, DAC250, DACtable (260,230,250,220)

  4. DAC table • Based on PDM measurement -- highstatistic s-curve(25 packet, step 1, DAC 0-600) in LISA vacuum vesselat APC • Many EC-unit have toolow gain with HV950V • Remain DAC250 for such EC-units dactable.txtused for the flight

  5. Gain Table 36 x 64 ascii input file: (ASIC0,Ch0) (ASIC0,ch8) (ASIC0,ch16) … (ASIC0,ch63) (ASIC0,ch1) (ASIC0,ch9)…. (ASIC1,Ch0) (ASIC1,ch8) (ASIC1,ch16) … …. … (ASIC0,Ch0) (ASIC7,ch0) (ASIC0,ch16) …. (ASIC0,Ch8) … …. … Ok, toocomplicated for now, wewillmakesummary/techinical document near future…. After long fightsince April, we made itwork on July 1st 2014

  9. Summary • Analysis of absoluteefficiencywith gain table configuration isongoing in the samemethod as othertwo conditions (no gain table, with/without DAC table) • Further calibration willbedoneafter PDM returning to Paris (in November?) • Whenit’sready, wouldbeimplemented in the table for the analysiswithotherparameters
