  1. My favorite biome by: Eian Welcome to biomes of the world to learn about the biomes and things around our world you can learn about. I will tell you about the Arctic Tundra.

  2. Arctic Tundra The tundra is a huge plain filled with ice under it is called Permafrost which makes nothing grow in the ground. There is summer and winter summer only gets to 3degrees Celsius to 12. Average weather is -20 degrees because its cold and extreme weather -70 degrees. They have rich minerals and 10 in. precipitation a year the air is dry.

  3. Why I picked the biome? • I think this biome is a little different from others. • This biome is cold doesn’t grow trees and isn't really a human environment so, I thought I should right about it. • This is a place filled with ice has permafrost covering the ground I just thought it’s a good write.

  4. The look • A big glacier from the Arctic Tundra, it is an amazing place to see and how the place looks. • The arctic tundra does have more land but there is amazing parts of the place people would love to see.

  5. Animals of the Tundra. • These are usually animals you would see in this area there skins match the habitat.

  6. About animals • Global warming and there coats from animals help them live in the cold freezing weather.

  7. Plants of the biome • As you see the Tundra isn’t always frozen they have plains like these but don’t grow as well, most are dead cause of the area. • Also plants can live because that photosynthesis helps them like normal plants they adapt to the area and become squeezed together and get to still live.

  8. The locations • The Arctic Tundra is found in the Arctic circle surrounds the north pole. Some are also in Alaska all the way to Greenland.

  9. BYE! • That’s all about the Arctic Tundra I hope you learned a lot!
