  3. Ol Yeller gets rabies while defending the family from a rabid wolf .Travis makes himself shoot the dog. • Quotation: Mama got up and put her arms across my shoulder again. “But he’s been bitten by a mad wolf.” Pg 154

  4. Travis cant get over himself of him shooting the dog. • Quotation: Days went by and I couldn’t seem to get over it. I couldn’t eat. I couldn’t sleep. I couldn’t cry. I was all empty inside but hurting. Pg 153

  5. Quotation: “Out in the yard comes a wolf. He hurtles over me and lunges for yeller. Mama he has been bitten by a mad wolf”. Pg 152 • Travis was torn by this experience.

  7. Quotation: Mama got up and put her arms across my shoulder again. “But he’s been bitten by a mad wolf.” Pg 154 • Mama and travis are saved from the wolf because ol yeller saved them…but in the process he got rabies.

  8. The narrator which is Travis is first person omniscient. He knows everything.
