Engaging Math Sessions at Sacred Heart Elementary: Observation and Reflection

This project involves the preparation and implementation of four interactive math sessions for 3rd and 4th grade students at Sacred Heart Elementary School, scheduled for March 31, April 7, April 21, and April 28. Participants will also complete reflective journal entries and conduct two observations of math lessons in public schools (grades 1, 2, 3, and 4, 5, 6). Each session focuses on different teaching strategies, with an emphasis on student engagement and understanding. Reports will compare classroom observations with NCTM's standards on learning environments.
