  3. Comma, conjunctions, and clauses—focus. • You have a practice handout. • You have a poster project. • Use the white paper and your creative talents to complete by 1/31……assessment on 1/31. • Balance, display quality, neatness, all elements…see rubric. • Must include rubric with poster.

  5. The Dream Act: • This act is called, “The Dream Act”. Is the name appropriate? Explain why and cite evidence in at least 2-3 ways.

  8. Analyze the “Dream.” • Use the graphic organizer to analyze and synthesize the theme, Embracing the American Dream”. • You will need to choose three of the four informational text to complete your organizer.

Your Tasks: MLA Process • Go to Mrs. Mahre’s BLOG • Visit the tentement website • Complete all tasks, then write a letter or a postcard —turn in. • Pull up MLA Powerpoint: Read All information: • Complete the FOUR work cited practices from articles. • Pull up the MIDAS Touch powerpoint: • READ, then create a notesheet of Summarizing, paraphrasing, quote---Use the Holocaust Remembrance article to create ONE OF EACH. Turn in.
