  2. SOME TRADITIONAL GAMES PLAYED IN INDIA ARE : Gulli Danda Kite Flying Kabbadi Rasa Kashi(Tug Of War) Sitolia(Pitthu Garam)

  3. GulliDanda This game is played with the help of two pieces of sticks, of which one is smaller and other is bigger. Smaller piece is called gulli and bigger is called danda. One player has to hit the small piece(gulli) with the bigger piece(danda). The game proceeds after the successfully hitting the smaller stick.

  4. KITE FLYING The passion towards kite flying can be seen during the months of winter. During winters, with early morning the sky gets filled with colourful kites flying covering the boundary of sky. Jaipur the capital of Rajasthan is famous place for kite flying. Every year on Makkar Sankranti in month of January kite festival is organized in Rajasthan.

  5. KABBADI This game is played between two teams. II. A line is drawn between two teams and each team sends a player across the line, if player after crossing the line is able to touch a player of opposite and came back without being caught will get a point. III. The process of crossing the line by player will be performed in single breadth.

  6. RASA KASHI(Tug Of war) This game is played between two teams. A line is drawn between two teams, each having one end of the rope in its hand. The team, which is able to drag the other team to its side, is winning team. Basically this game is played by men but now a days women also participate in this game.

  7. Sitolia (pitthu garam) This game is played with the help of ball and pebbles. This also a team game. Player of one team has to hit the series of pebbles with the help of ball, the other team either has to catch the ball or hit the players of opposite team. All this should be done before the player arranges the series of pebbles.
