  2. Market Analysis Summary Our Customers : • Hookah bars generally have two types of customers. First are those who are there for the social aspect of it and to experiment, and second, are the people who are there out of joy and just the love of hookah. • While both groups are there for somewhat different reasons, it is our duty to accommodate both of them. We plan on doing this by providing a fun and laid back environment for those who are there for the social scene, while at the same time providing a more traditional hookah experience for the veterans in the crowd.

  3. Market Segmentation • Edmond hookah will focus on the lower to middle class markets. This market looks for high quality products and services but at an affordable price. Our business will be catering to three customer segments. • College Students- Edmond hookah will establish a customer base with the local college students. This will keep steady and constant revenue to keep the stability of the business constant. • Ages 18-25 • College students will make up 50% of the customer base.

Market Segmentation • Hookah Smokers – This segment of customers will be made up of the recreational smokers looking for a place to relax and hang out . • Ages 18+ • The recreational smokers will make up 35% of our customer base. • Other- The other category will consist of the remaining customers, such as out of town family and tourists. • This group will make up 15% of our customer base.

  6. Competition • There are many smoke shops, “head- shops”, and hookah bars in the metro area, however, the local market in Edmond is lacking them. We plan on building a strong business relationship with our customers and surrounding competition, in order to succeed.

  7. Market Strategy Summary • Edmond Hookah will provide a wide range of hookah pipes and accessories. We will provide world class customer service and great accommodations for hookah smokers.

  8. Advertising • Our advertising will be made up of. • Flyers and posters at local colleges • Advertisements in local newspapers • Leaflets in the local mail • Internet advertisements and a website • By word of mouth

Offers And Specials • In order to attract customers, we will have discounts and specials on certain days of the week. • Monday- Two for the price of one night. • Tuesday- N/A • Wednesday- N/A • Thursday- N/A • Friday- Open mic. Night. • Saturday- All you can smoke for $10.99 • The Student Special : Bring in your college i.d. and receive 10 percent of your total bill.
