History: More than 35 years experience • 1970‘s – Started manufactoring in South Africa (General Electric) • 1980‘s – Purchased flameproof transformer section from Marlin Gerin • 1990‘s – Flameproof division was designing, manufactoring and only supporting their own products • 1997 – Hansen + Reinders purchased the Flameproof Division of Genwest Industries, forming Genwest + Hansen • 2000‘s – Purchasing Reyrolle mining switchgear and transformer division • 2003 – Name changed to Hansen + Genwest (corporate branding) • 2007 – Largest contract in Hansen history (350 dry type transformer) • 2008 – Pump division Hauhinco (Germany) • 2009 – New Denmark pums, Zondagsfontein • 2010 – Name Change to Kopex + Genwest • 2010 – Shuttle cars for the South African market • 2010 – BBBEE partner
