  1. Warm Up 4-8 & 4-9 • Grab a textbook • Turn to page 227 • Skim through Chapter 12 (227-251). Write 5 sentences/questions about things you want to learn more about. Remember, I’m looking for 5 sentences total.

  2. Warm Up 4-10 & 4-11 • Please get a textbook from the bookshelf • Turn to page 6 of your Unit 5 Packet • Follow the directions at the top of page 6 • Turn to page 226 in the textbook. Choose 25 of the people or terms from the black bar on the left-hand side of the page. Fill them in the left-hand column of page 6 of your packet

  3. Warm Up 4-12 & 4-15 • Please get a textbook from the shelf. • Turn to page 228 • Read Pages 228 and 229 about the different immigrant groups that came to Utah. • Summarize in 5-7 COMPLETE sentences 3 of the 5 different immigrant groups the book talks about.

  4. Warm Up 4-16 & 4-17 • DO NOT DISCUSS YOUR CHARACTER WITH ANYBODY!!! • Please get out your Daily Communication Log • Grab a textbook and turn to page 251 • Read the instructions on page 251 and then answer the 4 questions on that page in COMPLETE sentences.

  5. Warm Up for 4-23 On today’s warm up, just write: “Freebie” • When you have done that, please make sure your name is on your DCL and pass it to the left… • Then, make sure you have your Unit 5 Packet and a textbook…
