  1. World Alzheimer’s Month(September)- Dementia Around the World Alzheimer’s disease also called senile dementia. Dementia is a worldwide health disease problem and one of the leading causes of death. approx Fifty million people live with dementia worldwide, with someone developing the condition every three seconds. Globally, diagnosis of dementia disease rates are low, research is underfunded and people are receiving substandard or no care for this disease, with stigma in many communities remaining rife. But there are In some countries, there’s not even a word for dementia disease. Alzheimer’s Society is a founding member of the Global Alzheimer’s disease and Dementia Action Alliance, a coalition of NGOs seeking to champion global action on dementia disease. With the help of international NGO partners, dementia is starting to be recognized as a core development issue and also International civil society has a key role to play in tackling the dementia disease crisis, taking action with global governments to ensure that people affected with dementia disease are not left behind.

Treatments:- Treatment of Alzheimer’s disease consists of different activity and with the help of medications. No permanent treatment for this disease, but medications and management strategies may temporarily improve the symptoms of this disease.
