  1. Math Games Rachel BernierMath, Science & Social StudiesFebruary 8, 2014

  2. Shape Matching The shape board will start out with nothing on it. A child will pull one shape at a time out of a bag and decide where it should be placed on the board. I did different colors and sizes to make it a little more challenging.

  3. Color and Number Sticks The sticks will all be mixed together in a bag. A child will take one stick out of the bag at a time. The sticks should be sorted by color and also be placed in number order. The number is written on the bottom, and also has the appropriate number of dots to assist in the ordering process.

  4. Shape “Dominos” This game is just like dominos, only you match shapes!

  5. Color Bear Sorting Have the children match the bears to the corresponding color mat.

  6. Doggy Dice Children will each have a doggy bone as their game piece. Whatever number they roll on the dice is the number of spaces they can advance on the board. Whoever gets to the doggy first wins! (Note: It may be helpful to write the children’s name on their game piece.)

  7. Doggy Dice Pictures

  8. Ten Lollipops Each child will get a lollipop (use the appropriate number of lollipops for the number of children in the room). The teacher will call out numbers and the child with that number will hold up their lollipop. Go faster and faster!

  9. Rectangle Ordering-Biggest to SmallestArrange these rectangles by size, biggest to smallest

  10. Shape Sorting Sorting each shape into a muffin tin (this one can also be done by color).
