Once upon a time, there lived a proud cross-eyed king who desired a handsome portrait of himself. Unable to find a solution, a young artist sought advice from his talented father. The father suggested depicting the king holding a bow and arrow, cleverly positioning him to close one eye, thus masking his cross-eyed appearance. The artist followed this advice and created a splendid painting. This tale reminds us that everyone has beauty; we just need to look for the good in others instead of focusing on their flaws.

He was a proud king and he wanted a handsome painting made of himself. He asked the best artist in his kingdom to make a portrait.
As the king was cross-eyed the young artist did not know how to make his king look handsome. So he went to his father who was a very good artist himself.
His father told him, “Everybody looks good one way or the other. Make a portrait of your king holding a bow and arrow then show him take aim. As one eye of his will be closed no one will notice that he is cross-eyed.”
The artist did exactly that and he made a wonderful picture of the king.
Very often we only look at the bad things in people. We must look for the good things.
