  1. Examen de unidad 2 Rutinadiaria y salud (daily routine and health)

  2. listening • You will hear statements describing how several personal hygine items are used. Statements will be said twice. You will have to write down which objects the description is referring to. • You will hear a description on several medical problems. As each statement is repeated (twice), you will write the number of the body part mentioned in each description. • A girls is going to tell you about her morning routing. You will write the letter of the illustration that shows what she does every morning. • Two friends are talking on the phone. Listen to the conversation and answer the questions to show comprehension.

  3. Reading comprehension • You will read the profile of a doctor and answer a few comprehension questions in complete sentences in Spanish. • You will read an article from a health magazine, and answer a few comprehension questions in complete sentences in Spanish.

  4. writing • You will have to write the personal routine of the person in the pictures using the pictures provided as a guideline. You will have to make sure to conjugate the verbs (both reflexive and not reflexive) correctly. • You will have to write a composition explaining your daily routing and habits. • You will have to describe a time where you felt ill. What was hurting, how did you feel, what did you do to feel better, did you go to the doctor, who helped you, what could you not do during that time? The more details the better.

  5. Oral proficiency (2 possible scenarios) Ap exam verbal rubric will be used for grading. • Talk to you friends about your daily routine. Talk about the things you all do similarly, and those that are different. Ask each other about the personal hygiene products they prefer and why? Explain your habits and the reasoning behind them… The sky is the limit! You have 5 minutes to say it all about your daily routines!!! • You feel sick, and decide to visit a doctor. During the appointment, talk about your symptoms and how you feel. Doctor will give recommendations to improve your health. (Students in the group of 4 will divide in pairs for this specific scenario) Eg. Doctor greets the patient and ask how he or she is feeling Patient replies and tells the doctor what is sore and what aches. Doctor asks how he/she is feeling. Patient responds with more details and information. Doctor tells the patient what is that he/she has. Patient asks what he/she should do to feel better. Doctor gives the patient 2 recommendations.
