  1. HEARING GOD FOR MYSELF Conscience:The Voice of Your spirit Part 2

  2. I Corinthians 14 10There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them is without signification.

  3. Romans 8 16The Spirit himself beareth witness (communicates) with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

  4. Romans 9 1I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my consciencealso bearing me witness (communicates with) in the Holy Ghost

  5. God’s Spirit Talks directly to My spirit <======>

  6. Conscience Greek: Suneidesis (soon-i'-day-sis) Co-Perception or to perceive together I Corinthians 6  17But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

  7. Conscience ONLY FOUND IN THE NEW TESTAMENT What is Conscience? Conscience is the voice of the your spirit communicating the influence of the Holy Spirit

  8. Romans 2 14For when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do the things in the law, these, although not having the law, are a law to themselves, 15Which show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, gk.-therefore their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)

  9. 2 types ofConscience • Good • Evil

  10. Good Conscience Good – (gk.) Noble, Honorable, affecting the mind agreeably, comforting (peace), confirming (bears witness) VOICE OF BORN AGAIN HUMAN SPIRIT

  11. Evil Conscience Evil – (gk.) Full of labors, annoyances, hardships, pressed and harassed, bringing toil, causing pain and trouble VOICE OF GUILT (comes from LAW: self-righteous, i.e.. Pharisees)

  12. I Peter 3 20Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

  13. I Peter 3 21The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us [notthe putting away of the filth of the flesh(evil conscience-full of labors/self-righteous), but the answer of a good conscience toward God, (my spirit being alive)] by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

  14. Romans 8 13For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the spirit (by listening to your conscience) do mortify (kill off) the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

  15. Galatians 5 16This I say then, Walk in the spirit (carry on in life according to your conscience), and ye shall not fulfill the lust (voice) of the flesh. 17For the flesh lusteth against the spirit(conscience), and the spirit(conscience) against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

  16. Galatians 5 18But if ye be led of the spirit (influenced by listening to your conscience), ye are not under the law. 19Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery (unfaithfulness), fornication (any sex outside of marriage), uncleanness (diluting God’s agenda/will), lasciviousness (you have no brakes),

  17. Galatians 5 20Idolatry (giving anything more power in your life than God), witchcraft ( Gk.-“pharmekia”-abusing medications and drugs), hatred(hostility),variance (constantly arguing), emulations (idolizing man), wrath, strife, seditions (treason, back-stabbing), heresies (party or sect divisions),

  18. Galatians 5 21Envyings (ill will), murders, drunkenness, revellings (wild partying), and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

  19. Galatians 5 22But the fruit of the spirit (the result of listening to and acting on your conscience) is love (agape), joy (calm delight), peace (quiet prosperity), longsuffering (gk.-fortitude), gentleness (usefulness), goodness (lifestyle of good), faith (calling those things which be not as though they were), 23Meekness (being teachable), temperance (self-control or discipline): against such there is no law.

  20. Galatians 5 24And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections (gk.-emotional influences) and lusts (voices). 25If we live in the spirit (by your conscience), let us also walk in the spirit (by your conscience).

  21. Evil Conscience Evil – (gk.) Full of labors, annoyances, hardships, pressed and harassed, bringing toil, causing pain and trouble VOICE OF GUILT (comes from LAW: self-righteous, i.e.. Pharisees)

  22. Hebrews 10 1For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. 2For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.

  23. Hebrews 9 11But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;

  24. Hebrews 9 12Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. 13For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:

  25. Hebrews 9 14How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

  26. Hebrews 10 19Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; 21And having an high priest over the house of God;

  27. Hebrews 10 22Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. 23Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

  28. WRITE DOWN FOUR LESSONS LEARNED WHAT SHOULD I STOP DOING? WHAT SHOULD I START DOING? WHAT SHOULD I CONTINUE DOING?
