Tell a story or teach hearing something about Deaf life: 1.Tell us what you plan to say- either type key points into a few slides, or I can help you create slides if you have no computer access- just give me the information on paper- this will help the hearing students follow your signing . 2.Share it with us! (sign it) --- that is it! Let me know what you plan ahead of time (for approval) and I can tell you it is a 100% work, so you already know! Topic ideas: stories of deaf culture, close community, residential schools, Audism (discrimination, oppression), ways to socialize with deaf people, stories about depending on an interpreter, personal experience as a deaf/hard of hearing person, etc. (your own or someone else’s), or other- just let me know! ASL 3 deaf/hh exam credit option- Deaf Awareness week
