  1. Want to Be More Creative? Have you ever been forced to think on your feet, only to feel like your mind was a total blank? Have you ever been asked to come up with a new answer, but felt trapped by your own limitations? Most people have experienced this kind of “stuckness,” when their creative juices just aren’t flowing. When they are flowing, however, life can reveal untold opportunities and infinite possibilities. With creative thinking, everything gets bigger, brighter, and more expansive. Creativity allows you to paint outside the lines, find unique solutions to difficult situations, and see the silver lining in whatever life sends your way. All in all, accessing creativity is one of the most important skills anyone can master, and meditation can help. Writer’s Block is NOT Just for Writers Anyone can get stuck — and most people do! 75% of people think they are not living up to their creative potential.1 But a lack of creativity can hinder growth and success. Amid CEOs, for example, about 60% cite creativity as the most important leadership quality, compared with 52% for integrity and 35% for global thinking.2 Clearly, creative thinking can lead to big things. Why Is Creativity So Important? Creativity is more than just writing stories or drawing pictures. Creativity is a phenomenon that involves the use of imagination to create an original idea. Our ability to imagine something completely new is one of our most amazing qualities — it’s what makes us uniquely human, and sets us apart from computers and robots. Unfortunately, the lost of flexible thinking has a direct correlation to a decrease in our productivity and the breakdown of our relationships.

  2. Can You Train Your Brain for Creativity? Neuroplasticity is a word you want to get to know; it describes the recent scientific breakthroughs that prove your brain can change. Research has shown that certain areas of your brain can generate new cells and create new neural pathways (once thought to be fixed). In other words, your thoughts can actually change our brains; a simple thought can alter neural connections and lead to differences in your attitude, behavior, and thinking patterns.3 Boosting Your Creative Potential with SOS The SOS Method influencesyour brain’s physiology for mental clarity, creativity, and inspired solutions at work, home, and play.4 It uses the concept of neuroplasticity to change your brain for the better. By releasing your limiting patterns, there’s space to strengthen your brain’s new connections, boosting creativity. This can unleash your potential and ultimately, help you realize greater prosperity in all areas. (And, it makes life so much more fun!) Resources 1.Advertising Age.
