  6. Story • In Greek mythology, Ariadne is Cretan princess, daughter of Crete King Minos. One day, the sea god Poseidon gave the king a beautiful white bull to do a tribute to the gods. However, Minos was so greedy that he took the white bullfor himself.

  7. Story • Poseidon was very angry, he made the queen of Minos, also Ariadne‘s mother, fell in love with the white bull.Later the queen gave birth to a monster with a head of a cow named Minotaur.

  8. Story • Minos was ashamed and regretful, so he invited the most famous architect Daedalus to builda huge maze Labyrinth to keep this monster in a maze. Minos annually supplied seven pairs of boys and girls as a sacrifice to Minotaur, which made Crete residents living in fear.

  9. Story • A few years later, King Minos forced the Athenians to tribute seven pairs of boys and girls as a sacrifice to Minotaur . The Athenians were living in fear. Theseus is prince of Athens, he was determined to remove the monster for the people, so automatic as a tribute to the island of Crete.
