  16. The Significance of theWorld Hip Hop Championships and World Battles to the Philippine Dance Community: • For years, the Philippine Dance Community has been clamoring for eliminations to be held in the Philippines for the World Hip Hop Dance Championships in Las Vegas. • Previously, the only way to qualify for the world’s biggest hip-hop dance competition was to send a dance video of the competing team, subject to the final approval of the HHI governing body. • With the staging of Hip Hop International Philippines, the whole Philippine Dance Community now has an equal chance at representing the country in Las Vegas. • No other competition in the world provides the ultimate bragging rights like the World Hip Hop Dance Championship

  17. The Significance of the World Hip Hop Championships • and World Battles to the Philippine Dance Community: • There is no established competition in the Philippines that brings the same prestige and recognition that being a World Hip Hop Dance Championship/ World Battles qualifier brings. More so if the group or an individual wins it all. • There is also no established competition for individuals who want to compete in Popping, Locking, Allstyles and Bboyin the Philippines. Although there are a few events for these dance styles, they are incomparable to the World Battles. • The World Hip Hop Dance Championships and World Battles are the perfect avenue to make known to the world the Filipino talent in dance, for those who fail to take notice of it.
