Established ongoing work group • Identified single points of contact for all campuses • Developed a consistent definition of PLA • Determined (and implemented) consistent method of tracking PLA for CTC  students • Established crosswalk examples for specific career clusters • Analyzed and recommended a consistent fee structure • Collected and shared state and national good practices • PLA wording was added to inter-college reciprocity agreement • Developed resources and training for faculty and staff • statewide workshops, fall of 2011 and 2012 • PLA wiki with resources • Increased transparency and consistency of information available to students and stakeholders • This was the number one goal of colleges participating in the fall 2011 workshop • Discussed PLA practices with regional accrediting commission • Clarification on PLA definition and standards relating to PLA
