  4. The Saga of Satan Ezekiel 28:12-18

Ezekiel 28:12-18 • 12 "You were the seal of perfection, Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. 13 You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone was your covering: The sardius, topaz, and diamond, Beryl, onyx, and jasper, Sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold. The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes was prepared for you on the day you were created.

Ezekiel 28:12-18 • 14 "You were the anointed cherub who covers; I established you; you were on the holy mountain of God; you walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones. 15 You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, till iniquity was found in you. 16 "By the abundance of your trading You became filled with violence within, and you sinned;

  9. "Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; you corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor; I cast you to the ground.” Ezekiel 28:17

  10. Isaiah 14:12-14 • 12 "How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations! 13 For you have said in your heart: 'I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north; 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.'

  13. Satan's Self Destruction Lucifer lost sight of the fact that he was made to worship and not for worship.

  14. The Rise of the Hater Three main reasons why Satan hates you.

  15. 1. Satan hates you because every time he sees you, he sees God.

  16. Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness… Genesis 1:26

  17. 2. Satan hates you because you have stolen his job, and you're better at it than he was!

  18. Matthew 5:14-15 • "Here's another way to put it: You're here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We're going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don't think I'm going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I'm putting you on a light stand.

Revelation 5:9-10 • And they sang a new song, saying: "You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth."

  20. 3. Satan hates you so much because God loves you so much.

  22. What marvelous love the Father has extended to us! Just look at it - we're called children of God! That's who we really are. 1 John 3:1

  23. “…now as he drew near, he saw the city and wept over it.” Luke 19:41

  24. Romans 8:31-39 • 31 So, what do you think? With God on our side like this, how can we lose? 32 If God didn't hesitate to put everything on the line for us, embracing our condition and exposing himself to the worst by sending his own Son, is there anything else he wouldn't gladly and freely do for us?

  25. Romans 8:31-39 • 33 And who would dare tangle with God by messing with one of God's chosen? 34 Who would dare even to point a finger? The One who died for us - who was raised to life for us! - is in the presence of God at this very moment sticking up for us.

  26. Romans 8:31-39 • 35 Do you think anyone is going to be able to drive a wedge between us and Christ's love for us? There is no way! Not trouble, not hard times, not hatred, not hunger, not homelessness, not bullying threats, not backstabbing, not even the worst sins listed in Scripture: 36 They kill us in cold blood because they hate you. We're sitting ducks; they pick us off one by one.

  27. Romans 8:31-39 • 37 None of this fazes us because Jesus loves us. 38 I'm absolutely convinced that nothing - nothing living or dead, angelic or demonic, today or tomorrow, 39 high or low, thinkable or unthinkable - absolutely nothing can get between us and God's love because of the way that Jesus our Master has embraced us.
