  2. Location This is a map of México! Their capital is México City. México is located in central America.

  3. Climate There are two noticeable seasons in México. The dry season, which starts November and ends in June, and the rainy season, which is from late June to early November. In México city it is usually dry, the afternoon is usually the hottest time of the day in this region.

  4. Population • México has a population of 109,955,400! 29.6% of people under the age 14. 64.3% of people in México are the ages of 15 to 64. The other 6.1% are above the age of 65. • Mestizo people make up 60% of México. Amerindians make up 30% of the Mexican population. 9% of México is whites. The other 1% is other races. México has a wide variety of people of every age and color!

  5. Language 92.7% of people in México speak Spanish. Spanish and indigenous languages make up 5.7% of the language. Unspecified languages make up 1.6% of México's language.

  7. Customs! DÍA DE LOS MUERTOS Mexico’s day of the dead is a celebration that begins with a prayer in church. After that people make their way to the cemetery and decorate their loved ones gravestone. Some put out the lost loved one’s favorite food and play their favorite music. Children eat sugar skulls on this day and celebrate the lost lives of their friends, and families.

  8. Sports • In México you will see that the two major sports are softball and of course, soccer. Soccer is by far the most loved sport in México. People from every city will come down to see two rival teams play.

  9. Food, yum! • Mexican foods vary from different regions because of ethnical groups. Northern México is known for its beef, goat, and ostrich dishes. Southern México is known for its spicy vegetable & chicken dishes, it has a lot of influence by Caribbean dishes.

  10. Art and music! • Mexico has a wide variety of music that has been passed on mainly by European and indigenous cultures. Music from the east coast of México is strongly influenced by Cuban music. Today's popular music is a style called ranchera, although music of México is still symbolized by mariachis. Art from México is very colorful and vibrant, mostly influenced by the gods.
