If re.rockspace.local is not working then there are high chances that you have not connected your phone or computer to the rockspace extender wifi name. For this first go the wifi list and check for rockspace_ext network name and then in the address bar type re.rockspace.local or 192.168.0.254 both these links will take you to the rockspace extender login page.
