  3. The Festival • 4th period film festivalscreening on June 25th • 5Teams officiallyentered • Business English studentsaremakingfilmsnow. The bestonewill beselectedforthefestivalaswell.

Film Crew Mentors • Sabrina: two crews, one all female working on a Cinderella story • Jason: his seminar class is our latest entry • Lisa: the aspiring filmmakers from Saudi are working on a soccer star mockumentary • Will and Catherine are co-mentoring a group working on a series of monologues and a dance routine around the theme of happinness

  5. Prizes the teams will win • 1. Best overall film 40,000 yen • 2. Best script 30,000 yen • 3. Best dramatic performance 20,000 yen • 4. Best film poster 5,000 yen

  6. On our to do list • Scripts should be in and corrected asap, by next Monday would be ideal. • Have students complete posters for their individual films by June 16th so that we can get them up and raise interest in the event. • Create a festival poster for 2014, does anyone have some artistic students that would be interested?

  7. The festival is on June 25th!Please join us! It will be entertaining! Our intermission film on travel in Japan, by Dahome and Josef, is very well done.It is rumored that NHK TV will cover the event.
