Following assessments will be carried out throughout the session • ASSESSMENTMARKSMONTH • Periodic Test I 35 July-August • Multiple Assessments 5 April-August • Portfolio Submission 5 April- August • Subject Enrichment Activities 5 April- August • Mid Term Examination80September • 5 marks for Multiple Assessments- will go on throughout the term, no formal testing for the same • Periodic Test 35 marks will be reduced to 5 marks PATTERN OF ASSESSMENTS-April-august

UNIFORM SYSTEM OF ASSESSMENTS • MID TERM /END TERM EXAMINATION (80 marks): Course covered till the announcement of exam dates • INTERNAL ASSESSMENT (20 Marks) • Test ( 5 marks) • Multiple assessments (5 marks) • Portfolio Submission (5 marks) • Subject Enrichment (5 marks) ASL- Languages (Test Listening and Speaking abilities), Map/Project Work in Social Science, Practical Work and activities in Science, Lab Activities in Mathematics Details of the system-

AREAS FOR ASSESSMENT • Art Education ( Visual & Performing Arts) • Health & Physical Education (Sports/ Martial Arts/Yoga/NCC etc.), including SEWA (skill based activities resulting in services useful to the community) • Discipline • SCHOOL BASED ASSESSMENT ON A 5 POINT GRADING SYSTEM A- OUTSTANDING B- VERY GOOD C- GOOD D- FAIR E- AVERAGE • PARAMETERS FOR MARKING (generic criteria) Regularity Sincere Participation Output Teamwork Areas of assessment-co-scholastic

Art Education- by Visual or Performing Art teacher (students to select one or more forms of creative arts) • Health & Physical Education- by the P.E Teacher • Strand I: Games /Sports • Strand II: Health and Fitness • Strand III: SEWA • Strand IV: Health and Activity card • Discipline- by Class teacher in consultation with subject teachers (Attendance, Sincerity, Behaviour and Values) WHO WILL GRADE FOR CO-SCHOLASTIC

  12. Students are expected to keep a record of the following: • Periodic Tests answer scripts • Port folio (classwork, home assignments, achievements in a subject, reflections, journals, peer assessments etc) • Subject Enrichment activities Record keeping

Photographs • Certificates of Merit/ Achievements • Paintings and other examples of artistic endeavour • Audio-Video Recordings (CD) • Self Assessment Sheets • Peer Assessment Sheets • Teacher Assessment Sheets • Any kind of Literary work • Interests and hobbies • Write up on social work done by the student PORTFOLIO CONTENTS- SUGGESTIVE LIST

Objective Type including MCQs- 20 marks • Subjective type questions - 60 marks (number of questions will be reduced to enable students to have enough time to give analytical and creative responses ) • INTERNAL CHOICE-33% ( already initiated in 2019 March Board Exam) Changes in question paper pattern
