High School Graduation Requirements English (4)—I, 2, 3 & 4 Math (4)--1, 2, 3, and 1 Advanced math (Pre-Calc) Science (3)—Physical, Earth, & Biology Social St (4)—World, American 1 & 2 & Civics/Econ PE (1)—Healthful Living Cluster (4)—Related Courses Electives (2) Designated—World Lang, Art and/or CTE 28 credits (32 opportunities)

  3. Logging In • www.f4k.org or click on logo found on homepage of (District, MSs, HS)

  4. Login to Your Personal Portfolio Username: NC-0912568033205 (you must put NC- before your student #) Password: 07191994 (shows up as ********)

  5. Click on the blue Course Planner button on the left menu bar.

  6. Welcome to Course Planner This chart shows courses you have taken in previous years. Students need to select 8 courses and 4 Alternates

  7. Selecting Subject Area Click on the Subject area (+) to see what options are available.

  8. Adding A Course Click on the (+) icon to see the related courses for a specific discipline (subject area). Note: Sample student is previewing science courses for grade 10.

  9. Adding A Course Remember you can review the information for a course by hovering over or clicking on the choice. See lavender box in upper left hand corner for biology info.

  10. Adding A Course Select a course by clicking on theplus (+) icon.

  11. Results of adding a Course A course code now appears for the selected science class.

  12. Adding Electives When you click on the plus (+) icon in an elective slot, you will see this screen. To see your choices click on the down arrow.

  13. Adding Electives To see all of the disciplines in the drop down menu use the scroll bar on the right side of the box.

  14. Adding Electives Click on a discipline to see your choices. This student selected Business & Information Technology Education.

  15. Removing A Selected Course If you decide you do not want to take a course, click on the minus (-) icon and the course will be removed.

  16. Selecting Alternates Please select 8 courses + 4 Alternates before you submit your selections. A new alternate will be added w/ each selection.

  17. Printing A Draft Course Selection Sheet When you have entered all selections. Click on the printer icon to print a draft copy of your selections.

  18. Submitting Selected Course You will use the “Submit” button when your course selections are final.

  19. CONFIRMING SELECTIONS • Counselors will then review information submitted • Teacher recommendations • Academic record • Counselors will email students if they have questions or mail a waiver home if discrepancies exist.

  20. Additional Questions • Visit one of the information sessions in the Media Center if you need additional assistance or the opportunity to step through the process.
