Crossroads Project Status • Rollout activities completed in Virginia • Normal operations on original infrastructure • No delays in pilot or rollout • Roll out ongoing in West Virginia, Alabama, and North Carolina • Over 50% of rollout completed successfully and on time. • Pilot completed with no major delays or service interruptions in clinics. • Suntiva evaluation complete with positive overall evaluation. • CSC expects user group formation and FNS approval for transfer consideration based on the completion of Pilot.
Crossroads Modules Portals Clinic Application (Crossroads)
Focus on EBT • States with a wide variety of legacy systems have all transitioned to Crossroads with success. • Consortium includes 2 paper and 2 EBT states • Feedback from local agencies is that processing time is roughly equivalent for the first visit but significantly faster by the second visit. • Crossroads is intuitive and easy to use for normal clinic operations. • EBT Support • Crossroads is built to support Universal Interface standards • Currently integrated with Xerox and CDP • Participant access to current benefits via Participant Portal • NUPC import / export capabilities, NTE Calculation Engine, Daily Reconciliation • Support for EBT Compliance Buys • Virginia Transition to EBT • Virginia successfully performed a concurrent migration to both EBT and Crossroads
Clinic Workflow Dashboard • Crossroads improves clinic operations by supporting movement of families using the Clinic Workflow Dashboard • Each clinic can create custom workflow based on clinic workflow. • Families become available in waiting room near appointment time or as logged into clinic. • Family record can be easily opened and worked at each workflow location. • System automatically opens family record and navigates user based on room type.
Crossroads Participant Portal • Allows participants to perform an online application process • Prescreen for eligibility • Clinic locator • Schedule initial appointment • Multiple language support, currently English and Spanish • Ability to schedule and modify appointments • Access to current benefits available on EBT card
Crossroads Vendor Management • Vendor Portal • Online Vendor Application • Online entry and import of price survey data • Real-time integration with Vendor Management System • Vendor Management • Comprehensive vendor enrollment system that allows states to configure elements of enrollment and monitoring process. • Vendor training management and communications support • Automated re-evaluation and peer group assignment process • Fully integrated with Vendor Portal for real time status updates • Investigation management and communication tools • Integrated price survey and minimum inventory reporting
Financial Management • Tracks Federal and State grants for food, NSA, Farmers’ Market, and infrastructure. • Interfaces with State accounting systems to get same day information about expenses, revenues, and encumbrances. • Combines grant monies with actual expenses to track target budgeted expenses across the four components of NSA; breastfeeding support, nutrition education, client services, and administration. • Tracks caseload allocations to local agencies. Monitors actual participation throughout the year against caseload target. • Generates FNS 798 report and supports electronic submission.
