6. 100,000 marine mammals and nearly a million seabirds die either from getting caught in or eating litter each year. Many of these creatures are already threatened or endangered species.

The intensive development of sciences, industry and chemistry in the 20th century has made the pollution of our environment a global problem which should be solved by all means.

11. The Botanical garden was opened in Krasnodar. In Krasnodar the reconstruction of the botanical garden of Kuban state agrarian university was completed.
