What is Creative Writing • Being unique in one’s own right, one’s own way. • To be inventive, imaginative on paper • Expressing how one feels about something, someone in a way that is individually his or hers. • A way of putting yourself, your dreams, your hidden emotions on paper in a way that points out who you are as an individual.

  3. The Creative Tools • The Attitude: In order to accomplish the goal of passing the class and leaving with the knowledge that one’s creative juices can be used for the good of one’s spirit, we must have a positive attitude. • The Mind: We have to use our minds to come up with the necessary “ingredients” in order to create our masterpieces. • The Heart: Without heart, the class will not as successful as you would want it to be. • The Spirit: It takes a certain kind of spirit with each student to make the class as enjoyable as possible • The Paper: Our playground • The Pencil: Our instrument …Let’s get started
