  2. Red • Red is acknowledged for raising a room’s oomph level. You should apply this lively color in living room because it brings the people together and helps in initiating a conversation. Red is also known for rousing your appetite, so it allows you to eat well and live well. This color should be avoided in bedrooms as it is a stimulating color and may obstruct your temper at rest.

  3. Yellow • Yellow portrays the spirit of the sun and arouses a feeling of happiness. This is an ideal shade to be applied in small spaces or as an accent tint. Though this color is generally considered as positive, but yellow is not recommended for bedrooms and some studies, conducted by Jeni Construction Pvt Ltd, have even proved that babies cry more in a yellow shaded room as compared to any other color.

  4. Blue • Blue is considered as the most relaxing color. Blue is acknowledged for lowering blood pressure along with neutralizing respiration and heart rate. Owing to this, blue is believed to be soothing which makes it a great shade for bedrooms and bathrooms.

  5. Green • Green is the color of nature, so is believed to be the most restful color on the eyes. It produces a revitalizing and relaxing feel. Green is a very multifaceted color and has a lot of hues but when used fittingly can give a feeling of peacefulness.
