  2. 3 2 2 World News ▶Reading Comprehension 1 Kid With No Legs Climbs 103 Floors A teenager climbed every 103 floors of a building. Michael, 14, who was born without legs, climbed the 2,109 steps leading to the 103rd floor of the Willis Tower in Chicago. He was one of about 2,500 climbers who participated in a campaign. It was to raise funds for The Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. McCarthy has received care from the institute for about 10 years. He wanted to prove to people that having a disability shouldn’t stop you from achieving your goal. ”I wanted to show people that if a kid with no legs like me can do it, anyone can do it,” he said. “Don’t let anything or anyone push you down.”He said he took many breaks throughout the climb. “My heart was beating a lot, but I knew I was going to make it up the building. I’m so proud of myself,” McCarthy said as the crowd cheered for him at the top. ☞ Choose the best answer based on the article.
